The terrible feelings of the past nightfall were beyond the young girl as she stared into the world around her. She could finally open her eyes and see the world for the first time. If she had known something was out here like this, she probably would be in a different situation than she was. The 16 year old might actually have a home. Sighing, the girl took her pack, that at the last minute had remembered to grab, off her back and opened it up to look inside. With a smile, she reached her hand to take out all it holds. The first item she snatched up was a water bottle. Breathing in relieve, she began to laugh. After a brief pause of just nothing, she set her bottle down and reached into the bag once more. This time her hands felt something smooth and sharp, and with a triumphant Yes! She pulled out a small dagger. No one dangers was going to get near her without a fight. Quickly putting back her things, she swiftly swept her pack back on her back before she took off at a jog to continue her journey. She had much to explore.
Aurora was her name. She was 16, and she was homeless. Abandoned you could say. But the teen had a different perspective on what was going on. This was her destiny. She needed to be out here, were adventure was around every corner. The scenes that passed her were breath taking, and she could start to feel the magic rippling through her body. I'm free.. She whispered. It didn't unsettle her one bit that she had stopped in a rainforest. She just tossed off her pack and threw off her shirt before jumping into the light flowing river. Her head was bleeding from her wound, and she needed to clean it. Putting her hands into a cup, she splashed the cooling water over her face. She repeated this until she could think again, and than it struck her where she was. Flipping her hair back and forth as she worriedly took in her surroundings, she hadn't really let the fact sink in that she might be in a new world.
Breathing in steadily, she started to calm down. Maybe this wasn't going to be so bad. After all, she was away from where she came from, she could start over. The magic that was here seemed so unreal though. Aurora stopped her negitivity right there, she believed for a very long time that anything was possible, and that meant anything.
Rawr! Aurora's eyes flew open as she leaped out of the water back to her stuff. Without worrying about her shirt, she went straight for her dagger. Once she had it out and she was armed, she turned her head to take in what was happening. Blinking, she relaxed immediately. It was only a baby. Filled with warmth, she slowly bent her knees so she was at the young ones level and gently coaxed it forward. Hey there kitty.. come here.. She wasn't quite sure what the creature was because lots of cats looked like that. She couldn't tell if it was a leopard or Jaguar, but as the adolescent cat began hesitantly moving toward her, she knew it was a jaguar. Smiling, she continued making 'kissy' noises as she watched in happiness as the cat came closer to her. When it was within reaching distance, she quickly grabbed it, ignoring it's protesting and put it in her backpack. I'm sorry baby.. She whispered as she zipped the pack up 3/4 of the way closed. She knew that this cat must be confused, but Aurora had plans for this cat, and the girl was smart, she knew that there would be a mother near by. She was even surprised the cat hadn't come yet. Getting scared thinking about the monster that was probably stalking her right then, she clutched the dagger and began moving quickly the way she had come. Her dagger was in one hand, and her shirt was in another as she made her way steadily back to the road. Hello? She called out curiously. It might help if she found a human to talk to.

It had been three days that Jakket had been left on her own in this place. She basically hadn't done much sleeping for the past three days and had just been stumbling around trying to find her way out... or to just find something; something that might give her hope in this place filled with disappointments. She hadn't eaten more than a few fruits when she could find them. Jakket's stomach was basically empty and it wanted something to fill her up. But even with that in mind, her stomach was happy with anything.
Jakket didn't know how she got there and she didn't know how she would get out... Or even if there was a way out. It was all a mystery to her. With her past life -- living on the run in fear of most of the humans around her, and stealing to get by -- she knew there was two things she had to do. And that thing was to find food and a safe place to sleep. But Jakket was unsure about how she would do this here in this great forest; a rain forest, at that. Jakket had grew up on the edge of a forest, not a rain forest. She had only read about a rain forest once in a book, when she was younger. Jakket realized that this was the only reason she knew it was a rain forest. But there was something about this place that seemed... magical, almost. She felt like this place was working against her life instead of with it.
"That's my fault, though," Jakket reminded herself as she stumbled across a tree root that seemed to allude her vision. Even with her many months in the English-speaking city Jakket still held true to her French accent. She looked back and glared at it a little before she turned forward only to get a smack in the face with a thin tree limb covered with large leaves that did most of the damage. She viciously pushed the tree limb out of the way and touched a tender spot on her forehead where the tree limb had split the skin. When she touched it she hissed at the pain of the dirt and salts from her finger going into the slight wound that bled, but very little.
« Qu'est-ce que vous stupide ? » Jakket asked herself, which in English translated roughly to "What, are you stupid?". Only when Jakket was truly angry, at someone or with herself, would she speak in French sense no one seemed to understand it. Although Jakket knew she was anything but stupid she felt that it was incredibly stupid of her to not watch where she was going. Potentially Jakket could loose her life this way, and that much Jakket did know about the rain forest.
She decided that talking to herself was not getting her anywhere and that she needed to keep going even if she had to trip over ever tree root and run into every tree branch in the whole forest. Jakket looked up towards the sky -- which was mostly hidden in this area by the tall tree tops that literally did seem to touch the sky -- and let out a sigh. She seemed all alone in this big forest and this made her feel as if she was not important in the world anymore. Jakket thought about her girly sister, her insisting mother, and her understanding father. She wondered if they missed her or if they even noticed that she was gone. Jakket decided that they did miss her and they were probably looking for her now. But in the back of Jakket's mind she knew what they were really doing.
The soft stinging pain hit her forehead and she let out a sort of humanish growl. Looking back in front of her she decided to keep walking. She knew she had to find some place to stay for the night that was only hours away. Jakket rolled her shoulders in a circle to only hear the slight cracking sound they made as the popped. As she did this she nearly tripped over another root but caught herself on a tree that stood close by. She sighed as her face almost hit the tree bark. She just rested herself for a moment as she tried to regroup herself. After closing her eyes for a moment she felt a little better and felt she could now continue. Pushing herself back to a proper standing position she looked down at her leg. When she did she realized that somewhere along her stumbling over roots and hitting her face against anything possible the hole that was in her faded jeans had ripped open more. Jakket now had a properly large hole that revealed her whole knee.
Oops, Jakket thought. She wasn't angry about it and rather liked each hole in her jeans. She was just a bit surprised by how large it had gotten and how she somehow didn't notice. Jakket shrugged some and then started to walk forward. Now her feet seemed to glide over the forest floor and her hands caught every branch before they had the chance to smack her in her face. Something suddenly changed in her as she made her way north.
After a bit of walking Jakket stopped suddenly. She squinted her eyes and tried to focus on what she thought she had just heard. Jakket could have sworn she had heard someone call out; Hello? it had asked. She stood there for a long time just listening and trying to figure out if she was just hearing things or if there was a possibility of another human. After approximately a minute of standing there something in the brush moved. It startled her and she jumped a little as her eyes darted to where the sound came from. Nothing moved so Jakket decided that she better move before something jumped out of the bushes and tried to eat her.

Aurora didn't regret stealing the young cat away from it's home because she was sure she could give it something better. She would tame the baby herself, and teach the young cat how to survive alongside a human. Aurora wasn't able to get a good glimpse at the cat before she had put it in her bag, but the 16 year old was almost positive jaguar was a female. Aurora liked that, it might be a bit easier to tame without having to worry about the males sexual needs. Aurora, smirked. She hadn't thought sex or anything of the kind for awhile now. It was like she had never been with a boy before. Of course, she was still a virgin, in fact, she was very prude too. But she had hooked up with a few boys in her time, but that was long before her brothers moved out on her.
Blinking back her memories, she continued through the jungle forest. She wasn't quite sure of what to take of the place. It was so dreamlike, and yet so real. The dirt road she had been walking on kept going for awhile, but Aurora was getting a bit exhuated. It was much to take in for one day, loosing your home and your world at the same time. Sighing, the girl broke away from the friendly path and went to seat herself on a soggy stump. It was the rain forest and Aurora knew that this was probably the best she could find for some sort of rest. At least the tree canopy was thick above her head, keeping most of the rain from hitting her head. Breathing, Aurora gently slid her backpack off her back and set it right next to her, keeping a good eye on it. Than, she took her damp shirt and quickly put it back again, covering up her cleavage and bra.
Once all set, she picked up her backpack and set it in her lap. Ok, lets see who we have here. The girl could feel the animal's muzzle trying to stick out the small opening, and this made her giggle. You want to come see who you're new mom is? Aurora asked the cat gently as she began unzipping the pack. She opened it enough so that the cat could get a good look around her, but could also not escape the girl. The cat was big enough to inflict wounds, and so Aurora did not dare place her hands around the animal to give a hug. She would let the animal warm up to her, and begin realizing that no matter how much it didn't like it, Aurora was her new mom.
The Jaguar was beautiful like all of it's kind. Aurora could clearly see it's unusual markings and could look into it's muddy brown eyes. Taking a breath, the girl carefully and slowly moved her hand toward the animal's pelt. Aurora wanted to see if she could pet it yet. Almost in an instant, the cat growled at her and turned it's head away from her. Aurora pulled her hand back away from the cat. I'm sorry baby.. I guess your shy. She commented. Than an idea hit her, Shiya.. That's a pretty rad name, don't you think? So that was what she named the Jaguar. Shiya.
The 16 year old began to feel the slight warmth on her back and looked up to the sky to see the rays of the sun. Turning back to Shiya she murmured, That's our cue. Blinking, she zipped Shiya back into her backpack, leaving enough space for the cat to breath again. Than, she pulled her dagger back into her hand and began making her way back to the dirt path. As she walked, she began hearing rustling in the bushes around her. Alert as ever, she pulled away from her, in a swiping motion in an attempt to scare away whoever was near. But as soon as she swiped, she pulled back. A person who knows this place is just what I need. She thought suddenly intent on finding out who this person was. Hi there.. I'm lost.. I need help! Her attitude was friendly, she didn't want to scare off this person. But on the other hand, she was determined not to get hurt, and if this person planned on hurting her, she would be ready to fight.

Jakket was walking along looking for a place to rest for the night -- or even a few nights -- and found herself day dreaming. She started to dwell on the thoughts of her family again, and her old life. It had been a long time but still she thought about it. She missed her lads and her sister. Jakket also missed her impossible mother and her wonderful father. But then she reminded herself that seeing them again wasn't likely and that she just had to focus on surviving in this new place she had stumbled upon.
A rain drop splashed her nose and she looked up to the top of the canopy. She could see more rain up towards the top but she noticed that only drops of rain would filter through and pat her face gently. The cool rain felt good against her face and was better than the hot sun that she had encountered earlier. She opened her mouth and let the sprinkles than managed to get through touch her tongue. That felt even better than it hitting her face. After a bit of standing there she decided to continue walking on.
Jakket stopped for a moment as she hear something rustle -- it sounded like someone, or something, walking. She wasn't sure so she started to walk again until she heard something harshly slashing at the brushes. Jakket froze in her place as she looked. But then suddenly a voice reached her ears; Hi there... I'm lost... I need help! it said. Jakket almost wanted to laugh but as she almost did she realized how big this could be -- another human! She didn't move from her spot afraid that if she did she might get mauled by this other person -- who sounded feminine -- or another animal in the forest.
"Who are you?" Jakket asked from her place, shifting nervously towards where she thought the other human would be. Her words were rough and covered in her French accent although Jakket never noticed it. Slowly she pushed through the brush appearing before the other human. Jakket paused in surprise; She had expected another female but not one her age. Jakket's hair fell in front of her face and she shifted her hair back into its normal place. Her face was sort of dirty and so were her clothes -- which were already ragged and ripped from just dealing with her lifestyle before.
The girl looked more prepared than Jakket was -- but than again Jakket remembered that she hadn't known where she was going for she had been locked up in a jail cell for a long time and then just taken and left out here in the middle of no where. This girl looked really happy to be here. Jakket wondered where she came from. Jakket also noticed the bag which seemed to wiggle and Jakket's stomach growled a little in the thought of possible food.

Aurora sat down on the bare ground, not caring that she was soaking her cargo pants. She set her dagger down to the side of her as she criss crossed her legs. Sighing, a smile appeared across her lips as she once again pulled her pack from her back. She placed the bag in between her legs as she lifted her jaguar out of the bad. Hey Shiya! She greeted her animal happily. Aurora was never much of a pet person. Her father and brothers seemed to frown upon animals as friends, they seemed to like them more for torturing purposes, so there was no way that Aurora would have brought such an animal into that kind of situation. But now with Shiya in her hands, and her world suddenly behind her, she suddenly realized how much she liked having an animal companion.
The Jaguar cub was beginning to relax around Aurora. She was starting to get used to the fact that the 16 year old couldn't keep her hands off of her for too long. It was true, Aurora loved the touch of such an exotic animal, and she was beginning to really take to her new friend. Well, Aurora was friends with Shiya even if Shiya wasn't too found of Aurora yet. The girl couldn't blame the cat, Aurora had come into her life and taken her away all the cat knew and stuffed her in a bag. Aurora sighed, she would need to show this kitty that she wasn't all that bad.
Reaching out her hand once more, she attempted to place it on top of Shiya's head. A calming motion. The Jaguar cat let out a squeal but this time did not attempt to run. Smiling, Aurora placed it right on top of her head and moved it back and forth slowly. Under her hand, the cat began to relax a little bit. See? I'm not going to hurt you.. She whispered to the baby before zipping her back up into the bag.
Alerting her attention back to the new comer, she began running through her head possible scenarios. It looked like worst possible scenario was that this person lived here, and was highly unfriendly. Smirking, Aurora was sure that she would be able to fend for herself and Shiya and be able to make a run for it. If it came out better than that, maybe this person was lost just like her, and maybe they could become friends. When she heard the girl's response to her call out, she began getting more certain that this was going to turn out well. She sounded confused and lost which was just as Aurora was.
As the girl came into view, Aurora blinked open her eyes. The girl before her was beautiful! Maybe a little bit younger than her, but other than that they looked pretty much in the same situation. Looking into her eyes, she murmured softly, I'm Aurora, and I don't know what this place is.. She glared as she looked around the scenery once more, trying to figure out why she was here. Sighing, she relaxed her angered stance and looked back at the girl curiously, but she cocked her head at the girl as she noticed her intent her gaze was on her bag. Thinking fast, she realized what must be going through the other's head. Oh no... This is Shiya, and she's a friend. She told her. Her voice was strong as she declared this. She wasn't letting anyone near Shiya until the young cat had a better idea of what was going on. Smiling, she slowly unzipped the bag to give the girl a look at the Jaguar. This is her. She smiled again, before zipping her animal back up. Shiya was not food. She would help them get food.

Jakket looked over the girl before her some more, sizing her up. She looked skilled and perhaps cold towards many people. But her thoughts wandered not wanting to judge someone before she knew them. It had always been a rule in Jakket's life but it seemed harder and harder to follow these days. Aurora, as she called herself, was beautiful and her face was soft. It was a treat to look at and it all just flowed together nicely. She had a large cut herself though -- one much bigger than Jakket's -- and it seemed painful.
"I don't know what this place is either," Jakket said in a soft tone as she continued to stare at the girl who sat in her place with the bag in her lap. When Aurora spoke again she talked about what was in her bag; something she called Shiya -- a friend. Then as Aurora showed Jakket the jaguar cub Jakket stared in amazement. The cub was cute but she knew better than to go by the looks of a person -- or animal, in this matter. The cub would grow to be a proper predator.
"Shiya..." Jakket mimicked softly in her french accent. Jakket looked at the girl some more trying to decide whether she was a friend or foe. She decided it was too soon to tell.
"They call me Jakket, or Jack," She replied to the question she had long put off til answering now. It seemed almost irrelevant to her but at the same time important. Sometimes Jakket didn't feel like herself anymore and wondered if she truly was Jakket or someone else completely.
"Are you... lost?" Jakket asked inquisitively. The long pause between you and lost seemed unnecessary but Jakket paused in her question. She was unsure if she should ask it or just leave life as it was. In an attempt to seem like she knew what she wanted to say she just said it sense she had already started the sentence.

Aurora could feel the tension between the two girls. It was indeed a friendly exchange between them, but they had no idea who the other person was and what they were cabable of. It didn't matter that they were both beautiful and about the same age, because for all Aurora knew, this could be this world playing tricks on her. Tricking her into thinking that this person was a friend. Aurora shuddered, what if this girl was not at all who she said she was, and was actually an old man!
What the fuck? Aurora felt like slapping herself. Who would think of such a thing? This girl seemed nice, and confused which was just like Aurora. Aurora really needed to get her act together. This girl even told her that she knew nothing about this place, so Aurora nodded to her with a friendly smile. It was about time someone broke the awkward ice. However, she wasn't completely giving in to this girl. If she was clean and innocent, so what? Aurora wasn't much of a truster, and so it might take awhile before this girl would see her actually self.
Hey Jakket. She spoke with a friendly tone, and yet there was still an edge to her voice. She wasn't ready to completely give in to this girl being nice. Aurora was a weary girl by nature. Growing up with a family like her own would do that to you.
Yep. I am lost. I was thrown out of a car, and so I just followed this road, and ended up with a jaguar. She was being a bit sarcastic and playful now, her tone was beginning to lighten up as she tossed away all her troubles like a piece of trash. So what life sucked? Aurora smiled, she was free and away from those nasty boys that she could call family. She unzipped her bag again, and looked at her actually friend again. She half smiled at the cat, it was so cute in there, but she also felt extremely bad. She could see the terror on the baby's face. Sighing, she wondered what she had done. The cat could never go back to the wild now because if her mother found it, she would most likely kill it for stinking like a human. But Aurora was stronger than that, she knew that she could provide a great companion for Shiya. Reaching her hand out, she pet the top of her head again. Hi again.. She cooed at it.

Jakket studied every move and every word that came from Aurora. It was vital for her to pay attention to every little thing sense obviously not doing so hadn't gotten her anywhere. Speaking of which, her head stung lightly from the germs in the air getting inside it. A hand slowly reached up to her head and she let her fingertips touch the skin around the open cut. She shut her eyes for a moment and felt a sudden rush of tiredness. Jakket opened her eyes quickly to bring her attention back to Aurora.
The two watched each other and said very little but also attempted to say something at the same time. They both were very on edge and seemed reluctant to trust each other. Jakket feared that they were much alike; too alike to get past their general nature and trust. Pausing and shifting her weight from her left to her right in an uncomfortable stance.
"My story is not important. Less important than anything," Jakket muttered as she watched Aurora open her bag again to marvel at the creature she had in her hands now. It was precious in that vicious sort of way that made Jakket want to smile. She also marveled at the trust they seemed to somewhat show towards each other. Jakket hadn't know that feeling for a long time... And it seemed that Aurora hadn't either. Slowly Jakket lowered herself to the ground after a few moments of pondering it over.
"Shiya... a pretty name," She murmered in a soft and quiet tone that she often only used when admiring or speaking to an animal. If anything might spark a chat it would be the cub in all its wonder. The jaguar cub was a true beauty in anyone's eyes, where as Jakket knew she was just human -- a force not of nature but one that could shake nature at its roots. She often found herself lost in the world of animals, wishing she could be more like them. They lived such simple lives and even though everything they were kind and forgiving. Maybe not always, Jakket thought with a soft smirk peeking across her lips.
"What will you do with her?" Jakket asked as she tried to relax and make some sort of conversation. She sort of felt it was hopeless though and that they'd be stuck in this tense place of mind forever.

Aurora giggled as the Jaguar began playfully swiping at her hand. She could see that the cat was not trying to hurt her, and this brought joy through her body. This was just what she wanted, a companion to have fun with. Someone she could talk to about stupid things, and they would listen to you. Still smiling, Aurora flipped her hair which had been hanging off her shoulder back upon her back, out of her view. She wanted to get a better look at her new friend. Turning her head away from the Jaguar for only a few seconds, she noticed that Jakket had gotten closer, and was looking at Shiya with a smile. This made Aurora happy, and she turned the Jaguar cub so Jakket could get a good look at her. Aurora also seemed to notice the longing in Jakket's eyes, and her face fell. This girl must be lonely.
Taking a deep breath, she slowly reached out her hand to the girl, and placed it on top of her hand. Hey, we're here now. We're both confused and lonely, but heck, maybe we can make it. She smiled at the girl, hoping that this would finally break the ice between them. It wasn't like Aurora was against idea of making friends, she just hadn't seemed to trust her until now. She wouldn't tell her any life or death secrets though, Aurora just truly believed that Jakket was lost just like her, and needed someone to talk to. Aurora could easily be that person.
Wincing, she put her hand against her forehead and held it tightly. The blood was beginning to form around her face again as she applied pressure to it. Casting a glance at Jakket, she laughed as she took off her shirt, revealing her bra. She didn't really care all that much, it wasn't like it mattered. Aurora took the shirt and began tying it around her head like a bandage. She wanted to keep her head healthy, and it was going to be tricky out in the middle of nowhere.
Shiya seemed to know something was up, and pressed her paw curiously against Aurora's stomach, which made Aurora giggle as she picked up the cat and placed it against her chest before turning back to Jakket. She'll be a friend, you know, someone who can help me survive out here. She broke her gaze from Jakket to look at Shiya once more before kissing her face. The cat hissed, obviously it didn't like kissy stuff, and this just made Aurora laugh more. It had been a long time before Aurora had felt this good. This place is crawling with animals.. I could help you find your own animal if you'd like that. This might be a good way to become friends. Aurora really liked the idea of having friends. She hadn't had many in the other world.

Aurora had shifted the cub so Jakket could get a better look at her. She was unique and seemed a bit feisty -- Jakket decided that that was probably what attracted the two together. Aurora seemed feisty to Jakket but in a way that quite possibly saved Aurora's life. That was something Jakket didn't know, though, and didn't think she ever would. The past isn't important, after all, she reminded herself.
Jakket was lost in the look of the little jaguar cub when Aurora put her hand against hers. She touch was soft but firm and it shocked Jakket. She had to fight with all her might not to pull away as her eyes shot to her face and looked at her. The hairs on the back of her neck stood on end. But Jakket knew that if she pulled away it could damage whatever the two might possibly have.
"Maybe," Jakket said in a reassuring tone as she looked into Aurora's eyes -- which she noticed were tinted with blue. It reminded her of her own unusual eyes, only not as unusual.
"What happened to your head?" Jakket asked as she reached her hand out slightly but stopped more than half a distance between them. She tilted her head slightly to the side and watched as she wrapped it in her shirt. Then her attention was caught again by the curious Shiya who touched Aurora's soft and tender stomach. Jakket's eyes couldn't help but fall over Aurora's pretty figure but her eyes only loomed for a moment before shying back to Shiya. Aurora talked about her; She'll be a friend, you know, someone who can help me survive out here, Aurora said. Jakket admired what she knew the two would have together.
"Oh... I'm not looking. He'll find me," Jakket said in that same tender and soft tone that she had used before when talking about Shiya. Jakket believed deeply in the animals around her. She knew some were foe and some where friend -- like humans -- but she believed that they knew what was right in all this madness. And she knew if she was meant to have a companion like Aurora had, she would.
Jakket's mind drifted into the thoughts of what her mother had said was a wolf. It had been a mother, and three pups, in the forest near her old home. Jakket had only seen them for a few moments but she knew they were powerful, wise, and intelligent. The deep eyes of the mother wolf had held so much power and strength. The idea of one having so much... karma... was unreal to her. But the mother wolf had proved it to be real. Shaking her head a bit she tried to bring her attention back to Aurora and Shiya.

Aurora was mystified as she watched Jakket speak about finding him. Aurora tilted her head slightly, letting her dark hair fall off of her skin and blow in the wind, as she looked at jakket's face. She seemed so certain that she would find him. Aurora blinked, she hadn't been certain at all of what to expect here, but now she felt different about this place. There was adventure here, something she had been hoping for a long time. Sighing, she began thinking about how scary it would be without finding little Shiya. This place might seem different than it did currently, and she suddenly felt bad for how Jakket must be taking things right now.
Blinking, Aurora picked up Shiya in her arms and stood up. She staggered quite a bit from the loss of blood, but she regained her balance. Shiya placed her paw on Aurora's face, and mewed out a sound that was just too cute to bare. Ha ha, I like you too. She laughed. The rain noises above Aurora's head made her look up, but that was only long enough before a huge splash landed on her head. She giggled again, her spirits lifting higher than she had hoped for. Sighing, she cuddled up closer to Shiya. With the animal against her breast, she felt a little awkward. The feeling reminded her of the days when she used to fool around, but she noticed that the way she felt now was completely different than anything she had experienced before.
Feeling a bit more confident that Shiya trusted her, Aurora set the cat down on the jungle floor. Stay close. She told the Jaguar. Shiya looked up at Aurora and blinked at her. Confused, Aurora wondered if the cat had understood her. Nah, she really shouldn't be so silly sometimes. Turning her attention back to Jakket she murmured, I'm going to explore. And with that, she set off back to the road. She had left her things behind because she had great intentions on returning. As she brushed through the jungle brush, she heard some movement behind her. At first she thought it was Jakket following her, but than she heard the squeaks of complaint, and giggled again. Shiya.
Turning back to her animal, she bent her knees so she could pet it before turning back to the path. Her head still made her feel dizzy, but the rain that was seeping through the canopy was keeping her from fainting. Her hair was already a bit muddy, but she didn't really care. Who would see her, a boy? Aurora smirked. If that were the case, she was sure that the boy would look at her half naked body rather than her hair. She rolled her eyes, some boys were such pigs!
She skipped up onto the dirt road path before turning in a circle. She let her hair flip around as she did so, and laughed a high spirited laugh. Really, she hadn't done anything this fun in a long time. She had never really been around a girl, so this was a bit of a new experience. Maybe she could catch up on all she had missed with Jakket. Sighing, she turned her attention back to Shiya. She noticed that the young Jaguar was jumping into the air as well, and rolling onto her back. Are you playing with me? Aurora asked, clearly delighted.

LIAR LIAR! pants on fire. and the pills go down and get you higher.
"AH!"
Zeke nearly screamed. Quickly he shoved his finger in his mouth and started sucking on it. That smartie was sawing into a tough fruit when out of no where, his knife had slipped. And by the looks of it, it's just a small little scratch, but it hurt like hell. Grumbling, he ripped a piece of his sock he had in his little adidas bag and wraped it snug around the cut. Without another word, the boy returned to his work; pausing to admire his knife. It was quite special, the blade was blue slate but it cut like steel. It was gorgeous, at least in his pretty blue eyes, it was. Just as Zeke was about to give up on the fruit, it split open with a lovely splash of it's juice right toward his face. Good thing he had cat-like relfexes, eh? Or maybe you wanted him to get all that sticky juice on him; too bad, it didn't. Setting his knife down, he pryed the fruit open with his fingers. The aroma coming from the inside was sweet. Picking up his knife again, he carved a little piece of the soft middle out and popped it into his mouth. As he chewed, he discovered that the sweetness turned into a tart. He coughed a few times, but managed to swallow the red-ish fruit.
Just as the boy was carving another piece, because he had to eat something, he heard rustling not far off. He froze and looked to where the sound was coming from. Nothing, but he heard more rustling; so he leaped up and started to climb the nearest tree to get a better look, and if it was danger.. he'd be safe. Damn, my knife. He paused and looked back down at the blue blade. Grunting, he turned his focus on climbing. Where the branches were thick enough to hold him and he was high enough to not be seen by the mystery rustler, he started to walk on his feet, carefully jumping from trees to tree, branch to branch until he saw what he'd been looking for. But he didn't at all expect it to be... a girl, no.. two? He squinted his eyes to get a better look, checking out the one that wasn't rustling the shrubs first. Hm.. Then his gaze wandered to the girl determind to explore. He noticed the jaguar, but saw that it wasn't very furocious. But he squinted his eyes again, to look at the girl. Blinking, his eyes widened, and he lost his balance.
"Fuck, fuck. SHIT!"
He yelled as he fell. Right out of the tree, landing on his stomach on some surfaced roots. Yeah, he got the wind knocked out of him alright. He only managed a few feeble coughs and groans as he got to his knees and doubled over.
"Daaaammmnnnn."
He mumbled and looked to the left to see the girl standing there. Auh, duude. He picked himself up and brushed the debris off his clothes. Oh, now the boy has to fix his hair. He combed through it with his fingers before he whipped his head to the side, how cute. Looking up from his personal doings at the girl that wasn't really doing much, he flashed a rather stupid grin that didn't stay there long. Glancing down then back up, he waited for someone to say something.. or accuse him of spying. Greatt.

Jakket sat there as she watched Aurora walk forward to go explore. Jakket had done enough exploring for the past three -- almost four -- days. She wasn't interested in scooping out her death here. She sat there and just watched as Aurora began to walk away; leaving Jakket alone again. Something about this felt almost heartbreaking to Jakket. It wasn't that Jakket wasn't used to being left behind or left alone, it was just different. They were all alone out here. Jakket had no one. At least Aurora had Shiya.
She thought about following Aurora and Shiya but the person who she was -- the loner -- kept her firmly planted on the ground. Her head throbbed a little as she felt a headache coming on. She blinked in an attempt to make it go away and could only imagine how Aurora was feeling with her cut. It was much worse than hers. With luck, Jakket would have her cut healed up within the week, if not sooner.
Watching Aurora turn around to smile and look at Shiya with such compassion and understanding Jakket almost felt jealous. She wasn't jealous of Shiya getting attention -- it was something else that quirked her. Jakket let it slip her mind though, as she normally tried too, and decided to focus on other things. Her mind drifted down to her stomach which was rather empty and hungry.
Fuck, fuck. Shit! -- That was the sound he made as he slipped from the tree he was in. When he hit the ground he made a loud thump and Jakket looked straight towards where he was -- which wasn't incredibly far from where she had placed herself on the ground. Her eyes widened and the hair on her neck stood on end when she processed that this was another human. And not only that, but he was probably their age, too. Jakket felt that this was too odd; too much of a likeness. Only this time it was a male, instead of female who she'd found herself in the presence of. The silly boy got up and brushed himself off and even fixed his hair -- Jakket wondered why he even bothered they were out in the middle of nowhere -- before just standing there. The silence was extremely awkward.
"Who are you?" Jakket almost hissed in a defensive tone as she pulled herself up to her feet and glared at him slightly. Something about him made her feel threatened so she wanted to show him she wasn't going to put up with any bullshit that he had to give. Her body was tense and her pose stood firm as she waited for the stranger who fell from the tree to speak.
"Well?" She asked impatiently.

The thought hadn't even made it's way into Aurora's mind about being watched. Since she had run into Jakket, her worries had just disappeared. And now, here she was, dancing in the rain like a loon. She wasn't worried about her body showing at all, she wasn't embarressed in any way. She liked minimal clothes on for some reason. She liked walking around in her bra with only cargo pants on as she made her way through the jungle barefoot. She was just a silly girl, it wasn't like it was important out here anyway. No press was going to show up hiding behind and trees and frame her as a maniac. Besides, she had always been a bit of a hippie.
Letting out another sigh, she stopped her game of fun, and went to touch Shiya. Let's go back to Jakket, and than we'll find food. Her stomach was a bit hungry. She remembered that she had had cereal for breakfast, and that was it. But she needed to suck it up, by the looks of it Jakket had been in this world a bit longer than her, and that meant that she hadn't had the option of eating cereal in a nice cozy room. Blinking, she pet Shiya on the head before standing upright and stretching. She let out a yawn, as she arched her back, letting more rain hit her belly button. Her bra was a dangly thing, it wasn't much of a push up bra, but it was still bought at Victoria's secret. She didn't like that shop, but she liked having sexy bras, they complimented her size B breasts nicely. Once she stopped thinking about underwear, she began making her way back towards her stuff and Jakket, passing through the exact path she had come from. And that was when it fell, about 2 feet from Aurora.
It was a person, Aurora realized as she got over her almost heart attack. He looked maybe a bit older than her, but that wasn't important right now. For all Aurora knew, he was extremely dangerous. Thinking quick, she turned her back on him and snatched up Shiya. If he was dangerous, Aurora would be able to protect her baby Jaguar. But as she saw Jakket appear on the scene, she immediately relaxed. It was so weird, because they were almost strangers, but when confronting someone who could be an enemy, they had each other's backs without a doubt. Shit! She hissed out loud. She had left her dagger on top of her shirt, which was away from where she could grab it. Preparing herself mentally, she realized she would have to rely on her fighting skills. She silently breathed a thanks to her no good brothers for teaching her all those fighting skills. They hadn't purposely tried to help her, but all there fun little games got fun once Aurora had figured out how to hurt them back.
Looking from Jakket back to the new guy, she realized she needed to speak up. What's your name? She asked with a strong ring to it. She wanted to let him know that these girls were trouble if he was going to be a pill, however if he was nice and friendly, she might just let him off the hook without a scrape. However, that didn't mean they were best friends. Oh no, Aurora didn't trust that easily. Her connections with Jakket were rare, and she certainly wouldn't trust this fella without good reason. But that was when she caught a glimpse of his face, and she nearly fell on her but as she took a step back. He was gorgeous! Closing her eyes, she tried to keep the blush from spreading across her face, making it to obvious to notice her reaction. No matter how hot he was, Aurora was going to keep strong.

LIAR LIAR! pants on fire. and the pills go down and get you higher.
Well this is nice.. and awkward. He thought as he peered around at his surroundings. Green.. green... brown... some colorful fruit stuff... and some stuff that probably belonged to the girls.. oh hey look, it's that girls shirt, with a dagger on it? Rightt, we were out in the middle of like.. no where. Who are you? Said a cute little feminine voice, his blue lenses flicked back to look at the girl. She was standing now, with a wicked glare in her eyes. Zeke just smiled and barely chuckled.
"Huh.. Girl, what's with the glare?"
Do you really think I'm a threat? Well standing wouldn't really be nesissary at the moment, so he decided to plop his little butt down and lean back against the tree that he fell out of. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught sudden movement and quickly turned his gaze to fix onto the other, shirtless, girl with that damn jaguar in her hands. Dude, the thing isn't your guardian. He rolled his eyes and ignored her question for awhile. Fiddling with his fingers, keeping his eyes fixed onto them, he felt the two harsh glares just staring at him like he was some alien.
"Okay, let's get his straight... I'm not a fucking threat. And, who I am isn't that special.. but if you're just DYING to know, I'm Eziekiel.. just call me Zeke. Now, who are you two?"
He was typically a get-to-the-point guy anyway. To Zeke, elegance is just a cold-hearted whore that loves salting his wounds and nothing more; hence his pretty little entrance. Casually coughing, he got himself to his feet again. Walking over to the shirt lying on the ground, he kept glancing at the girl. When he reached the shirt, he picked up the dagger, checked it out, put it next to the shirt, then grabbed the shirt and walked back toward the girl with the jaguar and threw it at her, not toss, threw. Right at her face.
"And put a fucking shirt on, I'll be right back.."
And with that, he started to walk back to where his stuff was, eventually running until he got there. Quickly, he snatched up his adidas bag and his knife and left the ant-covered fruit to be feasted on; he'll get something better later. As he made his way back to the girls, he found another one of those fruits he was cutting open earlier, he took but one. Zeke was back where they were and put his bag by a boulder protruding out of the ground. He didn't sit down, but he just leaned on the boulder and started cutting open the fruit. A bit of deja vu, if you ask me.
"Well?"
He said before he popped a piece of the fruit into his mouth.
