Once you have set up an account and are all registered, you can make your very own biography.
All new members are only allowed to make a bio of a Pawn. This is someone who has stumbled upon Echo, not knowing quite what to expect. Your age varies, but usually you are in you teen years; 14-19 I'd say. You can be a boy, or a girl, it really doesn't matter. All that matters out here is how you plan on surviving.
Life as a pawn is tough. You fight your way through everything including food, sleeping areas, and weapons. Not only with other people [maybe], but with the magical creatures or wild animals. You don't have anything to call your own because you are on foot and have one weapon of choice (dagger or a bow and arrow). How you use it is up to you. My advice to you is to stay away from wolves and Centaurs, for they are not too tolerant of the new Pawns. Mythical creatures will be played by staff to come antagonize the new comers.
Once you have started to get the hang of things, you might just be lucky and come across a stray horse or lone wolf that you might be able to capture. Once you have made enough posts for a companion, post in the companion animal thread. Follow the form and make a thread. An admin will eventually come and post your animal. Once you have been given your animal, you are free to go out and roleplay it being captured.
You can roleplay the capture out in one thread; one post. Or you can use multiple posts if another pawn comes to your thread. However; please do not post and than post again before someone replies. That won't work.
** Please keep in mind that your animal can't just be poof, trained. Especially if it is a horse, this is a wild animal you have just caught and you are going to need to train it to be able to ride it.
What you find in Echo is up to you. Your pawn my find success, love, enemies, adventure, it is all in the palm of your hands. There are plenty of lands for you to take over, so if you are a bit ambitious, that might be the road for you. Adventure is all around you but how you create it is up to you. Just keep your mind open to anything.
