It had been days now, maybe a week, since Aurora and Shiya had last met up with an actually human. She didn't know why she had left her friend Jakket in the rain forest, or Zeke and Paige in the mountains, I guess she needed time to explore. Shiya had grown in the week since she had been around other humans, but Shiya and Aurora had also grown closer. The 16 year old had dedicated most of her time to training her to hunt. The Jaguar was picking up fast, she could now easily tumble out of a tree and land on her feet. Aurora was mighty proud.
Here she was, on the coast line, with Shiya by her feet. Together, Aurora walked to the ocean water, and let it lap at her barefoot feet. Shiya darted at the moving waves and jumped back with a yip as the ocean current chased her. Aurora giggled and went to look at the horizon line. It was about 3 a clock in the day, the sun was out and their were many fluffy clouds stretching across the sky. Aurora smiled, that meant there was going to be a beautiful sunset tonight, filled with colors and rainbows.
Thinking about her days here, she had begun to come up with theories about why the kids were here. Aurora thought that this place was for kids who deserved it. Kids who could make the best of this place and truly appreciate it. Maybe kids who didn't have a whole lot in the other world, but out here they could have anything! Aurora blinked as she thought of her friends. She even thought of Paige now as an ally. Grunting, she remembered first meeting Jakket. Now that had been awkward. Smiling, she remembered the two of them finding Zeke. Aurora burst out laughing, she remembered how he had fallen out a tree. Her thoughts than moved onto when Zeke and her had spent that night together. Breathing in, she suddenly got very sad. An ache was in her heart. She missed that kid very much. Zeke.
Turning her head to Shiya she laughed, Yeah yeah, I know. I used to hate him, and now you think I love him! Well, I don't.. I just really like him. Aurora loved talking to Shiya. She was always such a good listener, and was always so patient.
Getting a twinkle in her eye, Aurora launched herself at her Jaguar. Shiya was always one step ahead of Aurora and was already darting down the shore line. Aurora loved watching her cat run, it was like a treat! Laughing, she quickly ran after her, her ability to move was just there. It was like she had wings, she felt so free!
Aurora took her shirt, and nearly ripped it off. In the last couple of days she had managed to clean off some of the blood and actually use it as a shirt. Her head wound was feeling better now, so Aurora didn't really have to worry about wrapping it anymore. With her shirt off, she ran up to where the ocean wouldn't be able to get it for hours and began sprinting after her Jaguar again, bra showing and all. She thought about taking her pants off and going for a swim, but her pants already wet as it was. The girl danced and skipped in the crashing waves as her Jaguar came back and joined her, actually getting wet this time. Aurora got to see Shiya jump over the waves. She giggled, this sure was a treat.

When Zeke awoke that morning, he found himself alone. No Aurora, so he went out following her footsteps until the snow was no longer settled on the ground. He figured that she headed toward the beach, since that was the direction her tracks were headed. Along the way, he would remember lastnight as if it were only moments ago. How they shared so much by just holding her. He smiled, blushing to himself. But he got the rosyness in his cheeks to fade away before he arrived at the white, sandy shores. Oh, and what do ya know.. Footprints and pawprints. He chuckled at Shiya's skid marks in the sand.
Before he set off following the tracks, he rolled up his jeans and waded his sore feet in the cool ocean. It almost seemed like a remedy as the currents just wiped the soreness away. With the pushing and pulling of the sea, he found his feet soon buried by muck. Making a face, he pryed himself out and stumbled backwards a bit before he landed on his butt in the soft sand. He's really been falling all over, lately. Moaning, he picked himself up and brushed off the sand that clung to his jeans. Then Zeke started to head in the direction they had gone, although he took his time and walked along the shore. He saw the occasional orca fin rise out of the water before disappearing into the blue again, and then he saw a flock of cormorants - sea birds.
The kid didn't bother to lift his feet completely off the ground as he walk, spraying sand everywhere in front of him. With his hands kept in his pockets, he kept his gaze on his feet. He noticed a few shells placed neatly beneath the blanket of sand, but they didn't stick in his mind for long as he heard the feminine laughs coming from a distance, along with playful rowling. He smirked, he knew it had to be who we was looking for. As he approached the pair it seemed they didn't have a care in the world. He stopped when he waded into the water as high as he rolled up his jeans. With his hands shading his eyes from the afternoon sun, he called out,
"Hey! Don't tell me you're trying to get those dance moves down again!"
He joked and lifted him other arm in a small not-over-eager wave to her.

It was maybe 4 a clock now as Aurora played with her Jaguar. The salty Sea water was all over her clothes and body now, for she had fallen in multiple times. The push of the nature current was a bit too much for Aurora's small body and she was knocked in on her ass endlessly. However, it was all fun and games as the sunbeams slowly began to urge toward the western horizion. Shiya was having her own fun, she wasn't quite swimming yet, but she was mighty close. There had been enough clothes to clash over her head to soak her, but the cat would just not give up in beating the waves to the shore line.
Aurora flicked water on her cat as she dove into the water. She had just jumped in and let her feet fly, slapping the water gracefully as she went in. Almost like a mermaid. Pulling herself to the surface, she gasped for air. That had felt very good in the hot rays of the sun. Aurora flung her hair back over her head, back to where she liked it. Her back was towards the magical lands as she gazed out towards the sunset. So many new experiences...
Turning her body, she looked back to the land, but she saw him instead. It was like her whole body just lit up from inside her as she looked at his welcoming face. His comment made her laugh with spirit. Close, She told him excitedly as she made her way towards him. I thought I was more like a mermaid. She told him with a smile as she reached him. She slowly wrapped her hands over his shoulders as she pushed into him, closing the space between them. The thought of kissing him sounded so good right now, but she was a bit shy, so she just pushed her head into his chest, and let him do his thing. She didn't even care that she was basicly half naked with him, he had seen this before. But the last time he hadn't been interested in her like he was now.I've been thinking about you.. She told him.
Once their greeting was taken care of, Aurora pulled back from him, her sly smile forming across her face. Oh, you are so in for it. She laughed before jumping back into the water with a splash. Forcing her hands into the salty water, she splashed his dry jeans. She wanted this boy wet! When she was done, she was soaking wet, a huge wave had come and knocked her off her feet. She had stared at him, waiting for him to tease her as more waves washed over her head. She was laughing, it was like everything was great, as long as he was near her. Aurora could not stop smiling.
The day was coming to and end, and for some reason this seemed to excite Aurora. Forcing herself out of the ocean, she made her way back to her shirt. She wasn't planning on putting it back on, she just wanted to rest. She was a bit tired from her play. Forcing herself to move her legs, she made it to her shirt and flopped down, flipping onto her back. For a few moments, she watched her stomach move up and down as she breathed. Her gaze locked with Zeke's, making her stomach flip over. He was beautiful..
Looking to the sky, she finally found what she had been waiting for. The slight color change in the ksy. It was sunset time. Oh, what Aurora would do for Smores right now. She giggled, it was silly to ask for something like that. Turning to Zeke she murmured, Come cuddle! Ha, watch the sunset with me.. It was like she had been craving his touch all day..

Zeke continued to watch as both of them had quite a blast with themselves, with the help of the ocean. The way Shiya would attack the waves with such confidence, thinking they shy away. But ohh no, they always came back; it was a never ending battle for. Flicking his lenses to face Aurora, and he smiled as she faced him. "Close," she said with an uplifting laugh, "I thought I was more like a mermaid." Zeke laughed, as if to jokingly mock her.
"Doesn't look like any mermaid I've seen."
As she approached him, he put his hand down that was shading his eyes from the sun - the falling sun. With her arms wrapped around his shoulders and neck, he wrapped his own arms around her waist as he placed his hands on her bare back, pulling her tighter into him. When she loosened up, he released her. "I've been thinking about you.." He smiled.
"And do you think I would come all the way here looking for you if you weren't on my mind?"
Zeke always had to add at least a pinch of humor into everything he said, except when he was serious at times; and how often is that? Not very, anyway. His eyes only widened as she told him that he was in for it; and was greeted with a nice little jean-soaking. He tried to get away, but his feet were once again buried underneath the sand. So he ended up falling completely into the water.
"Shiiiiit."
He whined as he pulled himself up. He clothes were heavy with salt water now. He made a disgusted face at Aurora, but he couldn't keep it there for long as he laughed and just shook his head. Zeke just watched as Aurora made her way clumsily back to her shirt and just collapsed onto the shore. It wasn't long before their eyes met again, and they were locked. He sighed after she murmured something to him.
"Nahh.. I don't really feeeel like it.."
He said with a straight face, but a small smile stretched across his lips as he walked leisurely over to her and sat himself beside her. He crossed one of his legs so his foot was under his other leg which lay straight. He gently lifted her up to place her on his lap, but he couldn't do all the work. Now could he?

The sun was drooping steadily as Zeke came over to join her. When he mock rejected her invitation, Aurora smiled slyly and threw sand on his soaking jeans. He just got owned! Giggling Aurora reached up her arms to him as he slid her into her lap. She used her legs to lift herself up before sliding easily into his arms. Her smile appeared again, not sly, just pleasant. Sighing, she looked up to the sky, now turning purple and red from the setting sun. Blinking several times, she pushed her cheek into his chest, Don't worry.. I won't fall asleep this time. She giggled, she loved sleeping in his arms, but tonight she wanted to visit, and talk a bit.
The sun was still far from leaving them, so there was no need for a fire just yet, Aurora was very content with just being warmed up by Zeke's arms. Thinking, she turned to look at his face again, So how are you liking Paige? She teased. She had felt a little weird the past night, she had felt as if she had to try that much harder just to get his attention. Breathing, she realized how silly she must have looked. It wasn't that she was jealous of Paige, Aurora was just worried. Paige was unbelievably pretty, and Aurora was just.. so so.
As Aurora was cradled in Zeke's arms, she could still see Shiya chasing the waves. Her jaguar was just never going to give up. Aurora smiled, her jaguar was very persistent and didn't give up easily. Aurora's eyes opened wide, Shiya caught a boar, and she killed it herself! The girl was so glad that the Jaguar had got the killing part down, she couldn't even think about doing what Zeke had done to that monkey, oh so long ago. Her eyes fell as she thought about how sad she was when she had skinned the animal. She was really never going to get over it, that had been emotional for her. Her hands had been cubbed together for all this time, but thinking about that sad moment made her place her left hand on his chest, grabbing his shirt inside her palm. She could feel the shelter of his legs around her as she was pressed against his front side, she liked it. With his arms around her, she could really feel content, and forget that she had skinned a monkey.
Aurora had dozed off for about ten minutes. Dang, she really was in for a teasing from Zeke. She had just told him that she wouldn't, and now here she was, asleep in his arms. But she woke up after about 10 minutes because her jaguar was right over her, paws pressed against her stomach. Aurora's eyes stretched, Noo.. NO! She screamed, but it was way too late. Shiya had already began shaking herself all over Zeke and Aurora. Shit! She cursed, she was a bit angry, but looking at Shiya's innocent face just made her crack up. Oh, now your dead. She hissed with an excited glint in her eye. Rolling off of Zeke, Aurora chased after her Jaguar, but once again, Shiya was a hell of a lot faster than Aurora. Giving up, Aurora just turned around and shook her head. How does she live with herself? She asked Zeke playfully before turning to look at the sky. We should start a fire, it's getting kind of dark. Still smiling, she turned back to where her Jaguar disappeared. Putting her fingers in her mouth, she let out a whistle that was extremely loud. Within seconds, Aurora was by her side. Turning back to Zeke she murmured, We've been working on that.
When the fire was made, Aurora moved herself back into Zeke's lap, letting him pick her up and place her inside of his shield like he had before. Smiling, she looked into his eyes, meeting his gaze like they had so many times before. Still too embarrassed to kiss him, she pushed her face into his chest, giggling the whole time. It was dark now, maybe even time to sleep, but Aurora didn't care. Turning her head, she looked to where her Jaguar was, curled up like a baby beside the fire. Aurora snorted and rolled her eyes. Shiya could be so annoying sometimes, but Aurora just couldn't bring herself to be mad at the cub for long.

With a smile, Zeke fell into a comfort zone when Aurora settled herself down in his arms. It made him feel important.. or special in some strange way. He followed her gaze as she looked toward the sky, he did too. Together they saw the artistic brush strokes of reds, oranges, golds, even purples now as the sun fell deeper and deeper beneath the sea. As she rested her head against his chest, he heard her promise not to fall asleep again. He managed a short laugh as he lost himself in the falling ball of fire, but he couldn't stare at it straight on. He had to squint to keep from damaging his eyesight.
Feeling her looking at him, he switched his lenses to look at hers as if saying "yes?". So how are you liking Paige? He shrugged his shoulders and had to think about it for a moment.
"I don't want to be rude, but she's a bit too... out there, for me. You know? Not that that's a bad thing.. But still, she's pretty cute."
He said with a smile, just teasing her a little bit. And it was only fair that if you teased someone, they would find a way to tease you back. But Zeke was okay with that; he was used to it. The silly kid jumped slightly at the girl's sudden outburst of excitement. He laughed at himself.
"That's impressive. Maybe she could actually go hunting with us instead of going along for just a chase and no kill."
He joked, using his thumb to stroke her arm. As the crashing and rolling waves took over the silence, he noticed that Aurora had just fallen asleep. He smiled, he knew that her promise was too good to be true, but he didn't wake her. It only took her around ten minutes to wake up again as Shiya appeared on them. In a quick response to her screaming, he held her tighter as the chilling water splashed all over them. He groaned and released the girl to run after Shiya.
"Damn cat."
He mumbled, wiping off his now-salty feeling face with his only lightly sprinkled shirt. Placing his hands behind him in the sand, he leaned his weight on them as he watched the pair run, only for a short moment as Aurora just gave up. Once again, Zeke shrugged to answer her question.
"Her cuteness always gets you."
He remarked with a smile. As she mentioned something about starting a fire, he looked around for any sign of wood; whether it be drift wood or regular wood. That's when he just remembered that his bag was still on his back. He took it off and placed beside him before he got up, and walked toward some logs that he almost tripped over on the way there. It wasn't much, but enough to start a nice fire. Placing the medium-sized logs near his bag, he set off the gather up a handful of seagrass. And with his supples all set, he arranged a neat little bonfire-type structure. Taking out a match, he struck it against the logs and when it lit, he tossed it in the middle of the seagrass and the fire immediately woke. A sharp whistle took his attention away from the fire, he whipped his head in the direction in came from. Aurora, and the signal brought the little jaguar cay to her side. He gave a weak, yet hearty applaud.
"Yeah, so I see."
He said as they reached the fire. And with the girl back in Zeke's lap, their eyes met again. It seemed to be there way of communicating.. without communicating. The boy moved in to kiss her forehead, but he got her hair instead as she pushed her face into his chest again. It was like a scene to a romance movie. A boy and girl on the beach cuddling by a romantic fire; can you say perfect?

Aurora shook her head at him as he appluaded her. She was laughing so much right now. It felt good to find someone like this, even though this feeling was just beginning. She had no plans on saying good bye to him, he was too great for that. Smiling, she turned to look at him and began thinking about the days in the mountain, and the first night they had spent together. She had liked that day a lot, and wanted to spend more days with him. It wasn't like her to get like this so fast, but she hadn't felt so alone before, in this new world. It was different, and exploring it with someone she liked made the world sound like such a better place.
Being in his arms was so much better though. She could feel his touch, and it made her glow. She really did feel like kissing him back, he deserved that for being so sweet to her, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. She wasn't exactly outgoing when it came to this type of thing, so she just breathed calmly while resting her head against his chest. He was beautiful, and she couldn't bring herself to tell him. She wished she could, but she was terrible with this type of stuff. She felt like she was shrinking, as she laid there in his lap, his arms around her. She would love it if he kissed her, that would be memorable, their first kiss.
Aurora sighed, and turned her head to look at the sky. It was getting darker, which made the scenary that much prettier. It made her smile. The things she saw here were things she might not have ever seen in the real world. This place really was special, and she really believed now that the kids who got to be here were chosen. Still smiling, she turned to look at Shiya, who was splashing her way through the waves again. The pull of the tide reminded her of things she liked. While the crashing waves reminded her of all the pain she had had in her life. It was a nice balance, however many times the Crashing waves crashed, the tide would always pull it back. Aurora took that in meaning, that whenever shit go yo down, there would always be someone who cared. Like Zeke.
She sighed and looked back at his face curiously. Let's go hunting together! She laughed, that was really never something she thought she would say in her life, but cercumstances have changed, and now it was the way to survive. Aurora also wanted to secretly show him how much better of a hunter she had become. Shiya had been teaching her some moves without even realizing it. What would she do without the little Jaguar? Aurora shook her head and laughed. It was funny, really to think about all the silly times they had had together. It didn't make sense how she could have so much fun.
Ha, Yeah I guess her cuteness does get to me! Her teasing mood almost stopped immediately though, she could feel the pounding of her heart as she looked at his face. She smiled shyly at him, he was so pretty! Hesitantly, she moved her face closer to his, breaking her gaze from his as her eyes slowly closed. She found his mouth easily, which saved her some embarrassement as she slowly began kissing him. This was something new all together. It was strange, and yet incredible at the same time. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she began kissing him harder, loving every minute of it.
Her emotions inside her were turning, and she was falling for this boy a bit harder. Her feelings for him were growing, but she wasn't going to be one of those sissy girls and be all, I'm in love! Cause she wasn't, she just liked him, more than she had that morning. Smiling, she slowly moved her weight on top of him and tipped him over, back into the sand. With her body on top, she lifted her weight off of him and continued to kiss him, her hair falling back over her shoulders. Too occupied to flick it back like she always did, she did something new, and tucked it back behind her ear.

Spending these kind of intimate moments with someone you just met a few days ago isn't odd.. is it? Well, they did have the time to see some of each others strengths and weaknesses, and so they sort of just.. clicked. But Zeke was always a cuddler, and most girls that he had dated just couldn't resist him. Although, when they found out that he likes to take things slowly, they decided to go a cheat on him. They'd always come up with the same damn excuses, "Ohh, no. Baby, that was nothing." or "He's just a friend.. with benefits." Yeah, it didn't sit well with him and he ended up doing all the breaking up; even with the girl he thought was the one. He got over that long ago, though. It didn't bother him much anymore. He could just forget about it now, in this place. Looking down at the girl he held while she looked up at him, it was tempting to make a move. Instead, she suggested hunting together. Zeke laughed at that, but quickly softened his face again.
"Are you sure?"
He asked, remembering how upset she was with skinning a monkey - not even killing it. But it really didn't matter, if she wanted to, then they would go hunting together. He flicked his eyebrows up as she admitted about the little jaguar's cuteness. Even though he never really showed it, he always thought Shiya was a cutie, but also a little devil. Gawking at each others eyes, both of their hearts pounded. As Aurora moved closer, he also started leaning in. Slowly, though. Because it was her move, not his. At first, there lips just touched slightly, in a playful way to increase the temptation. Then the girl's and the boy's lips met, and he closed his eyes. It was amusing how the girl had hated him when they first met, and now she stole a kiss. As each of them got more into the kiss, there was a short pause where she had tipped the kid over. He laughed and their lips met again, this time.. more passionate. With his hands caressing her back, he seperated his lips only slightly - an invitation to go a tiny bit further.
To get the things they've wanted, and get the things they've left behind. It's just what they wanted, what they needed. And what they've always dreamt about. Don't take another step, don't breath another breath unless you'll come back to me.

What was happening to her? It wasn't like she was boy crazy, so was this a bit too fast? Aurora kept wondering if this was right as she continued to kiss him, but it felt right, so was it ok? She could feel Zeke under her as she slowly pressed her body against his as she felt his hand rubbing her back. Mhmm.. Kissing on the beach. Perfect.
She was still a bit scared to go any further than kissing, she didn't want to mess up. For some reason she was scared that if she messed up that he would laugh at her. It was something she knew he wouldn't do, and yet she still worried. As she laid there with him, kissing him, she felt the pull of him getting closer to him, and despite her fears, she wasn't protesting. As he parted his lips, she did the same, but only slightly. She was mimicking his moves, trying to go at his pace and hers. This was something she wasn't very good at, but she liked the boy she was kissing, so maybe it would be ok.
It was her move, so she decided to pull back, pulling her lips away from his. She was on top of him, and she was looking at him now, a calm expression on her face, he was beautiful. Smiling, Aurora slid off of his body and than re snuggled up against his chest. She liked snuggling against his body. It felt warm and cozy. Smiling, she turned her head to find Shiya. Her jaguar was still jumping in the waves. Aurora thought about how it would be to have that much energy. She liked that, it would mean she would be almost invincible. Aurora was glad her jaguar was in fact a jaguar and not a cheetah. Jaguar's were built for stalking in the jungle, and that was what Aurora planned on hunting. There wasn't really a place for cheetah's to hunt, but than again, Aurora hadn't really been exploring. So far she had made it through the Jungle, the mountains, and now the beach. But she was sure that this world was full of new places.
The sun was almost gone now, you could still see color in the sky, but the sun had gone from a light orange to a deep red. Thinking, Aurora sat up from her position against Zeke's body. She turned to look at him before nodding her head in the direction of the water. It wasn't like her to want to get wet when it was getting cold, but Aurora was pretty sure she didn't want to get wet. She had something in mind, but she wasn't quite sure what it was. As she walked over to the waves, she thought about what she wanted to do. She hadn't really seen any animals lately, so maybe seeing something new would be good.
As if she cued it, she heard hoof beats against the ground in the distance. A smile slowly overturned her face. This was perfect. Was a horse really coming close to them? Aurora turned to look at Shiya, and said No. Horse is friiieeeennd She pronounced slowly. She had no hope of the animal understanding her, but that was alright, she could at least say she tried.
As the horse came closer to the 3, Aurora could not hide her excitement. The horse was an Arabian bay. Even in this light, you could make out the dark red color of it's pelt. It's mane and tail flew back in the wind as it cantered across the beach. It was curious about the people, but not enough to stop it's run. It was a lean animal, and you could see the grace in it as it ran back and forth. But finally, the animal's curiosity overwhelmed it, and it slowed to a walk before approaching Aurora, Zeke, and Shiya.

It was all quite spontaneous. First they started out a bit slow, and then BAM. A first kiss. Personally, Zeke didn't have a problem with it because it was all on her. She basicly chose what to do, because he would be too afraid of going past her comfort zone.
As the night grew darker, and the sun had finally decided to disappear, their lips parted and they were just laying there now - probably taking in what had just happened. Blinking several times, he gazed up at the stars that were beginning to come out of their hiding places as Aurora cuddled up to him. He draped his arm over her waist and kept his other hand beneath his head. It was quiet, a good kind of quiet. He let out a satisfied exhale, then turned to face the girl who was sitting up now. As she nodded her head in the direction of the sea, he looked at the waves, then back to her. Swimming? He wondered with a puzzled look.
When she left him lying in the sand, he sat himself up to see what she had in mind. It looked like she didn't know what she was going to do, either. That's when the sound of thunder got to his ears, he looked to the right to see a horse loping effortlessly across the shore. An interested glint flickered in his eyes as he got up to stand, watching the bay arabian still. But when the beast slowed itself to approach them, that's when he decided to go. Walking slowly toward it, he reached out his palm hoping that it would smell it and see him as not a threat.
At first, it let out a pretty loud squeal when he got closer to it. Ever so hesitantly, it extended it's neck to take a whiff. Bobbing it's head, he was confirmed a friend, not foe. Then it turned it's attention toward Aurora, then the cat that slinked around. As it turned it's back toward Zeke, he walked toward it's side and placed a gentle hand on it's back. It shyed away, but he was determined to keep his hand on it's back until it was used to being touched there. Figuring that it was no harm, it again tried to find out what a cat was doing on the beach.
All in one motion, the fearless kid placed both hands on it's back and lifted himself up with his upper arm strength as he swung his leg over and found himself sitting on it's back. As the animal felt the strange weight on it's back, it bleated out and reared onto it's hind legs. Zeke had a strong hold of it's mane, but he nearly slipped off. With that not getting rid of the odd thing on it's back, it leaped away from the other two and started kicking out. Come onnn, you gotta give up sometime. He said in his head, but laughing a little at it's feeble attempt to get rid of him.

The horse was something she had never seen before. She had always dreamed of seeing a wild horse run, but she had never actually pictured herself standing here, while the stallion ran its course down the beach. the sun was almost completely gone when Aurora turned to Zeke and reached for his hand, the way he stood there; watching the horse with his eyes, sent butterflies swirling in her stomach. Would she ever get over how magical this world was? She bit her lip as she watched him. She remembered the first day they had met, how hilarious that day was. That was almost 4 months ago. Time really did fly, but than again, Aurora and Shiya had taken some time off. They had gone there own seperate way. They had hunted by themselves, and eventually managed to get to the beach. Why would anyone in their right mind move away from someone like Zeke?
Smiling, Aurora giggled and flung herself on Zeke's back. She wrapped her arms around his neck and held herself close to him, feeling his body heat warm up herself. She was still a tiny bit wet from Shiya's play time in the water. Turning her head so Aurora could see her Jaguar, she winked at her, giggling into Zeke's hair. Wow she was giggly tonight, what was wrong with her? After she was tired of playing, Aurora rested her head against Zeke's Shoulder; slowly drifting off. She hoped Zeke wouldn't mind, she was tired, this day had been exhhausting. Sighing contently. Aurora mumbled into his hair, I think... I love you..

As soon as Aurora had managed to leap onto the beast's back, it wasn't long before they were off and striding down the shore. The intense thundering of the hooves against the ground sent a surge of invincibleness through Zeke veins. It could very well possibly be adrenaline, though. As the boy got used to the speed and momentum they were going, he loosened his grip on the mane and gently took one hand to place Aurora's down lower so she was wrapped around his stomach.
All of the sudden, Aurora dropped a bomb. The L bomb, to be exact. This caused him to tense, making the horse tense, and that threw him off balance. The beast decided to just stop in mid-stride and Zeke went flying foreward. Falling flat on his back, he felt quite humiliated. Sitting up he rubbed the back of his head. He groaned as he got to his feet, but he made it over to the side of the horse and leaned on it.
"Uhm, Aurora ?" He took her hand, trying to make it as unawkward as possible. "You know that I really, I mean really, like you.. But.. Don't you think it's a little too, ohh I don't kknow.. Early ? To say such a strong word ?" And he knew right then that it wouldn't be good. He didn't want to hurt her, he honestly didn't. But he didn't want to lie to her either, so he figured the truth was the best way to go. But now, now he was beginning to think if that really was the right way to go.

This was not good. She didn't know what she was expecting him to say, but she knew she regretted even mentioning love out loud. Why had she been so stupid? Now she was embarrassed out of her mind, her breath coming in gasps, she was beginning to shake. How awkward could this get? She shook her head, she had to put a stop to this pain now. It had been long enough, what the FUCK was he talking about? 4 months was long enough in a world where no one else existed. Why couldn't he just reach inside himself and find that he does love her, she knew he did, even if he didn't. But it didn't matter now, it was too late. Far too late. She was even over her hyperventilating, she ripped her hand away him from and kicked the horse to make it move. Stupid everything! The horse jolted upright and started cantering, but Aurora was too fast for the horse to escape, she pulled the mane back toward Zeke so the horse did a U turn. She was physically and emotionally away from Zeke now, she couldn't help but let a tear slide down her check, there would be a lot more before this was over. Looking at Zeke she hissed, Not long enough? Not fucking long enough? Are you kidding me?! We've been through more than I've ever been through in my life, and that was with you. I can't believe... I.. Can't... She couldn't even finish her sentence because the tears were coming so fast now. She just turned away from Zeke and screamed, SHIYA! COME HERE NOW! WE'RE GETTING AWAY FROM HERE! NOW! Turning back, she looked back at Zeke and screamed, Get the fuck away from me!
And she broke into a dead sprint. Her heart was racing, and she was slowly falling apart. She had left the horse with Zeke, and now that she thought about it, that was a stupid idea. The horse could easily outrun her if he wanted to catch up with her. But hopefully that dumb ass could take a hint. She didn't want to ever see his selfish face again. With Shiya by her side, Aurora felt better. She and her had been together for 4 months, the same amount of time her and Zeke had. Shiya had been more lovable from the beginning though. Blinking back tears, Aurora hurried forward, she wanted to get away from the beach and away from this blasted day. Shiya seemed like she didn't care where she went, the look in her eyes showed Aurora that her Jaguar was honestly worried about her, and cared for her happiness and that was all that mattered right now, Shiya didn't even run ahead of Aurora which she could easily do. They ran for miles, they ran back to the jungle, back to where Aurora had first met Shiya, where she had first met Zeke. What the fuck was his problem? It was probably midnight when Aurora crashed on the forest floor, she let her tears flow out now, she didn't even try to stop them, the only thing that did was Shiya. The Jaguar curled up by Aurora and began licking her face, making sure that she was safe. Aurora had to admit she did. Who wouldn't with a giant Jaguar on your side?

With a gasp, he stumbled a few feet back. Her sudden outburst of anger, and sadness, had caught him by surprise. And it wasn't a very good surprise either. He had butterflies in his stomach, but not the good butterflies. They seemed angry.. with him !? Her rage got him worked up, and soon he was slipping out words like there was no tomorrow.
"I'm guessing you don't know how many times I've been hurt, do you !? My heart strings have had enough toying with, and I'm fucking sick of it ! That's exactly why I didn't want to get ahead of myself !"
But before he could finish his rant, she was gone. She turned her back and just ran, not even bothering to look back. Was she really over him ? He sure as hell hoped not. Thinking about what had happened, he turned away in shame. Why did he have to be so hard-headed ?
"And YOU of all people, just couldn't understand. You're just too naive. You don't even know what love is, do you !? You're just some kid, searching for what it means. And you expect me, who has been through hell and back through shit, to feel the exact same way as you ? Fuck it, you haven't been through what I have. You don't know what it feels like to have a knife stabbed through your heart, a hundred times over ! God, you're such an idiot.. No, no. I'm the idiot. I fucking ruined it.."
He kept talking, as if she was still there and listening to him. But all he had was a fire, a horse, the sea, and painful memories. Turning his gaze to the horse, who was faithful enough to keep standing there, he walked over and placed a hand on it's neck. Wiping away some tears with his other hand, he blinked several times to clear his vision. The horse craned it's neck to look at the boy.
"Can the world really come crashing down in a split second ?"
He seemed to be asking the horse. The beast just shook it's head and grunted, then nudged the motionless kid. Zeke just had too many thoughts running through his mind, like a sprinter. He knew he couldn't stay here, just the memories here were so bi-polar. At first, they were lovers under the stars.. and then all that shattered, from the horrible mistake that the boy made. Or at least, he thought that it was his fault. Without another word, he lifted himself onto the back of the horse and loped away. He needed time to breathe, she needed time to breathe. They could both probably use a break; to organize their thoughts.
