Personality: Aurora had a challenging beginning in her story. Two brothers always kept her on edge, never trusting dead silence in the night. From an early age, she learned how to stick her nose up. Those brothers of hers were stronger than her, but Aurora had the brains on her side. She learned never to be relieved. Danger was there, and would always be there. Aurora grew up with an edge to her personality. She was a hard core warrior who needed a chance to prove herself. With her ambitions the way they were, she wasn’t going to let anyone stop her from coming out on top. If she saw potential help from you, she would stick close, using you for her own needs. It wouldn’t matter who you were, Aurora would lie, cheat, and hurt to get what she wanted most. Right now, she didn’t even know what she wanted most, but she knew it was out there. Aurora would search the world to find it.
Growing up was a challenge for Aurora. Her family wasn’t always too pleased with her since the males of the house assumed she was the maid. Because she was the oldest, and only, girl in her house, she was forced to take on mom role, and wanting to explore all the time made this difficult for the family. She would often come home tired and groggy after a day of play, making her father very angry. He didn’t like how hard it was for her to do a simple chore for him. Angry with this enslavement, Aurora would get away from her family, often to her room, to plan her happier times. Knowledge spread through her like newly made blood. She took it all in greedily, studying her interests fast. She knew all about how to survive in the wilderness, and when she found echo, she could have possibly been the happiest girl on this earth.
Description: She’s average size for her age, about 5.4 in height. She is naturally stronger than most girls. I guess she could thank her brothers for that because it left her with an advantage. She kept her clothing light. Usually, she would wear a tank top and cargo pants. This was something that kept her well hidden in the trees. Aurora wasn’t dumb enough to wear bright colors because she knew that hiding from the creatures in Echo was one of the most important things to think about. Her small pack that she kept with her was black as well as her shirt. She especially didn’t want to be spotted with her back turned to her attacker.
Her hair and facial features are a bit rare, making her a treat to see in the forest. She could be easily mistaken for a woodland nymph. Her dark brown hair goes about 5 inches past her shoulders. Her hair type is wavy. Her hair tumbles in locks of waves as it hangs down naturally. Aurora's favorite style to put it up in is a messy bun. It keeps it off her face and makes it easier to see the world around her. Her facial features are new for anyone, something different than the ordinary girl. Aurora eyes has a mixture of an amber and blue, making her eyes look purple. She hasn't met anyone else that shares her eye color. It gives her hope to succeed at being different. Other than her eyes, she doesn't really seem that strange. Her nose is a little more pointer than round, but with her facial structure, it plays off on her nicely, fitting right in with her pudgy lips.
History
She was only 3 when her mother left her. Aurora looked up to her mother, holding on to her. Rain, her mother, loved her more than anyone in the family. She felt that Aurora was special somehow, and that was Rain kept her away from her obnoxious brothers. But when Rain died mysteriously, Aurora was alone. She didn’t have anyone to go to. She felt the anger slowly start to begin deep inside her. 4 years passed of fighting with her twin brothers before her father claimed her as the maid of the house. When she was 9, her brothers, Kyan and Traye turned 14, making them stronger, and that much more obnoxious. That was the day she began fist fighting them. She was beat up brutally and unfairly. But the 9 year old girl didn’t protest. She was watching the boys and taking mental notes about how they moved, and how they fought. During the night, she would plan her strike well. She would ambush their weaknesses with force, making the older boys cry.
This war went on until Aurora was 15 years old. Her brothers were well on their way to success. Aurora smirked when she thought about how they were doing. Drugs were their life now. The 15 year old knew they would do anything for drugs, but when the paper came one morning and said that Kyan had shot Traye 3 times for hiding his drugs she nearly had a heart attack. Aurora didn’t grieve much for loosing Traye, but her father sure did. He forced her work harder upon her. Fed up after another year, she tried to hurt her father, but Aurora had greatly misunderstood his strength. Don, the man of the house took her against her will and threw her in the car. He drove for about 2 hours before kicking Aurora out the window. The 16 year old fell out of the window and crashed right into a dirt road. Her face plant brought pain, but that didn’t even matter to her right now, she was free. Turning her back on her old home, she began sprinting down the dirt road, laughing and singing the whole way. When she reached the forest however, she knew she was in another world. She was in Echo.
